AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush Review
It’s true, I am an AMSOIL dealer, but like you, I like products that actually work regardless if I sell them or not. I have put off using AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush because I figured it was nothing more than snake oil and didn’t see any use or benefits to using it. When I first staring using AMSOIL as just a customer, my sponsoring dealer suggested using the Engine and Transmission flush and I figured they were just trying to up sell me, so I told them no thanks and starting just using AMSOIL engine oil. It’s six years later and I finally gave the AMSOIL Engine and Transmission flush a shot.
For the last two years or so my engine developed a light ticking noise when cold. This is common on the 4.7, especially with 200,000 miles on the clock, and I figured it was piston slap. I tried some MMO in the oil and nothing changed, so I figured it wasn’t something that could be fixed or helped with a cleaner. I actually decided to try the Engine and Transmission flush just to clean up the engine before the next oil change. I poured in a bottle, let the car idle for 15 minutes, then went out to change the oil.
After the oil change, I cranked the engine and immediately noticed how quiet my engine was running! I now wish I would have used the flush years ago, but now I am sold on the Engine and Transmission flush. I plan on using it ever other oil change to keep the engine clean and running smoothly. If you have been holding off giving the Engine and Transmission flush a try, I would suggest you not wait any longer.
